| Frame Backpack like Kelty Yukon, Coleman Peak 1 Flexframe, or similar multi-day backpack. In good repair, with spare pins and clips | Sweater, jacket, windbreaker. Dress with layers. Three extra sets of underwear, socks (3 pair thin and 2 pair thick) Bagged in plastic. | ||
| Hiking boots or shoes. Mesh not recommended. Lighter versions preferred. | Sack lunch for first day. | ||
| Lightweight nylon backpacking tent for 2. | Small flashlight with extra batteries. | ||
| Nylon, plastic, or Tyvek ground sheet, 6′x6′ | Lightweight ensolite foam backpacking sleeping pad. Strapped to backpack. | ||
| Mummy type backpacking sleeping bag less than 3 pounds. Rated to 32˚ F. | Light nylon or plastic poncho or rain jacket. | ||

We ask you do not bring electronics, toys, gadgets, food, snacks, jewelry, weaponry, games, cards. Please mark your personal belongings. It is doubtful phones will work.

Pack weight should be around 20 to 25 pounds without water or tent.
